Summarize chapter four from over the weekend.

1.  Gatsby Chapter Four Movie
We will watch the next section of the movie.
As you watch, pay attention to how the conflict develops.
What is the purpose of structuring the story this way?

2.  Conflict Analysis

Determine ONE conflict created in the Great Gatsby.
Next, create a plot diagram for the story thus far.
Include the exposition, conflict, and rising action.

Then, create a double entry journal that provides THREE quotes relating to the conflict.
These quotes can come from the first four chapters.
Make sure to provide the page number of the quote and your reaction.

Make a copy of the document and place in your assignment folder.

Lastly, underneath the chart respond to the question in 3-5 sentences.
What is the purpose of this conflict?

We will discuss these as a class.
